Koç University was founded in 1993 as a non-profit private university in Istanbul, Turkey. Since its establishment, Koç University has become one of the leading universities in Turkey and the region. Its beautiful campus sprawls over a sixty-two acre estate that succeeds in balancing accessibility to all of Istanbul with retreat from the distractions of city life.

Today, Koç University is ranked #8 in the world's best small universities and #36 in the world's best universities under 50 years old by Times Higher Education mainly thanks to the scale and international impact of research conducted at the university, its small class sizes and entrepreneurial drive.

The university offers 29 Undergraduate programs (Bachelor) and over 50 fifty Master and Doctoral programs in English on a full time delivery format and welcomes talented international students with full or partial scholarships for most of its programs.
